Sofie is 21

Sofie made pancakes for breakfast, we visited Jenny’s friend Diego, went into a Gaudi house, celebrated Sofie’s birthday, and Jenny bought a pair of boots (finally). Another fine day. Jenny leaves for home at the crack of dawn tomorrow and Sofie and Mary will be heading to San Sebastian on New Year’s Day. Wishing you all a Happy New Year!

Sofie’s last day of 20

Miro Museum, Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art, eating, taking pictures of Sofie with a stranger named Juan from the Canary Islands, only a few shoe stores stops today, more eating, overpriced vintage clothing stores, Jenny in green hot pants, Mary and Sofie at Quimet & Quimet… the fun never stops.

Tuesday in Barcelona

The thick-like-pudding drinking chocolate in a few pictures is how Sofie and Jenny started the day (delicious). On the first day we tried to go to the Picasso Museum, but it was closed. Today we tried to go to the MCAB (Barcelona Contemporary Museum of Art), but it was closed! So we wandered around a lot and Jenny made Mary and Sofie suffer along on the Great Barcelona Boot Quest of 2010 until we all had to take a rest and eat. Then we finally made it to the Picasso Museum, which was well worth the trip. We also visited La Boqueria (a market) where we bought tit cheese and a bunch of other yummy stuff we ate for dinner. Another great (if exhausting) day.

Boxing Day

We did more walking around the city and eating today. We tried to go to the Picasso Museum, take a foodie walking tour, and visit the Camper stores, but everything was closed except for a few of the foodie stores. We did manage to see a few Gaudi buildings, drink some chocolate, and eat some delicious food.
